staying-put isn’t just about your address—it’s about building a life in the place you love, whether that’s your current home or the community you’ve built around it. As a credentialed Retirement Coach (and someone who’s been through this journey myself), I’m here to help you figure out what staying-put really means for you and how to make it happen.

staying-put Coaching with Susan

One-on-One Coaching
Let’s have a conversation about your life now and what you want for the future. Together, we’ll:
Look at what’s working (and what’s not) in your current living situation.
Make a plan to help you thrive right where you are—this could include tweaking your home, building stronger connections in your community, or even rethinking how you spend your time.
Keep the focus on what really matters to you and what makes you feel at home.
This is a chance to talk through what’s on your mind and take meaningful steps toward a future that fits you.
Couples Coaching
Planning for the future as a couple can be exciting, but it’s not always simple. I’ll help you:
Talk about your individual and shared visions for the years ahead.
Work through any differences in how you see your next chapters.
Create a plan that supports you both as you navigate what’s next—together.
These conversations are about building a stronger partnership while figuring out how to make staying-put work for both of you.

Small Group Discussions
Want to hear how others are tackling this whole “staying-put” thing? Small group discussions are a great way to:
Talk through topics like adjusting your home, building community, and planning for the future in a supportive, laid-back setting.
Swap stories, advice, and inspiration with people who get it.
Get fresh ideas while staying connected to your own goals.
These groups are casual, interactive, and a fun way to explore what staying-put could look like for you.

The staying-put assessment is a tool for clients who want to think broadly about living in the place they love for as long as they want. It’s online, brief (fewer than ten questions) and confidential unless you choose to share your answers. Using the assessment helps uncover thoughts and feelings about the decades ahead, focused on the place you call “home.”
